ImmiR: a database of miRNAs associated with immune checkpoints and immune infiltration.

Explore associations between molecular features and immune characteristics across cancer datasets using two complementary approaches:

Analysis Types:
  1. Immune checkpoint association:
Investigate relationships between immune checkpoint genes and biological factors in cancer microenvironments.
Output: Statistical table with association coefficients, p-values, and evidence for each input combination.
Example: explore CD274 related-miRNA in SKCM
  2. Immune infiltration association:
Analyze correlations between miRNAs and immune cell infiltration in specific cancer contexts.
Output: Statistical table with immune subtype tool, miRNA identifier, cancer type, correlation coefficients, and p-values.
Example: explore hsa-miR-155-5p associated T cell CD8+ infiltration
Instructions:
Step 1 - Choose either Immune Checkpoint Association or Immune Infiltration Association
Step 2 - Select Purity Adjustment (default: enabled)
Step 3 - Layer 1 Primary Input
  1. Select Primary Input Type: Gene, Pathway, Cancer Type, miRNA, or Immune Infiltrates (multiple selections allowed)
  2. Input selection based on chosen type
  3. View Records Found - displays available records for your input
  4. Choose Next Action: View Result to generate statistical table, Add More Filter to proceed to Layer 2, or Reset to start over.
Step 4 - Layer 2 Secondary Filter (Optional, Available only if "Add More Filter" selected in Layer 1)
  1. Select Secondary Input Type: If desired, add an additional filter to enhance analysis specificity. Based on your Layer 1 selection, Layer 2 will provide corresponding input choices to filter your analysis further. Note: Gene and Pathway cannot be selected together
  2. Input secondary selection
  3. View Updated Records Found - refined count based on both inputs
  4. Final Action: Submit to generate comprehensive results or Reset to start over.
